This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

I like your design. You going to bolt the neck on like an electric guitar or glue it in(set neck)?
Eastwood makes some nice guitars.
Thanks. it's not a copy of an Eastwood. Both upper horns have been reshaped. The S curve with the neck going through it. The over all bottom and sides got a bit of reshaping. Helped to balance out the overall shape.
I'll be using a standard Telly neck. And a full hardtail top load bridge.
Eastwood makes some crazy guitars. Totally dig the look. But have never played one. I really don't know how you could play a guitar with the knobs between you and the strings. Like the one in the attachment below.
Sorry should have posted this pic as well. This is the guitar I started with. Attachment is before my mods
Like that one too. The switch in the lower bout is close to picking action, but may be able to get by it. Your drawing placement of the knobs and switch will be better though.
I agree with you on those knobs also don't like how some guitars will have knobs and switches below the strings, they just get in the way.
Still would like to play on one. Just to see how well that works. Those are not cheap guitars. Can't see anyone buying.... oh, ya, that's right . People are still buying Fenders and Gibsons...: )
There's a guy over on the TDPRI forum that designs guitars that Eastwood has manufactured in limited quantities
That's a beautiful Mandolin.
Now that's a clean workbench.
Hi, I was just sorting through my "gotta do some day" rack and came across a few things/projects that should be on my bench, even I was surprised. I'm going to make a start soon.
The mandolins were started 20 years ago [put aside for other mandolin orders], the dulcimer was started by my granddaughter about 10 years ago, it was her second one, but she left town and it is left to me to finish, the uke was one of two from 3 years ago. How time fly's.
So much to do and so little time...........The CBG bench? well that's another story.
Cheers taff
Someone needs to get busy. Haha
Those are some nice gits.
