St. Louis MO. CBG Club/Workshop

We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Got the 19th coming up, our next meeting is always 3rd Saturday each month from 9AM till 11AM.

Looking forward to any Original Christmas songs any of you have created so we can play/sing and enjoy together. No worries with a little help from your friends. small exchange gifts are always fun but not necessary. I usually just bring a piece for building anywhere from a chunk of hard wood, CBG box or gizmo.

Lets have a great Dec meeting this year like last year!

Here's a picture of Gary Herget and one of his license plate guitars next to my "license plate car". I'm thinking I'll need to check my license plates after I leave the cigar box guitar club meetings just to make sure they haven't been turned into guitars!
