Yeah...I saw some guy playing what appeared to be a washtub...figured it had to be you! So do I understand it right that there's a jam that starts at 1?

It's about halfway down the page. Do you go to the bookstore often? I was thinking about checking out that lesson session Julian was talking about. My finger-style blues can always use work.
Thanks for the support! I guess that means you're not the person who only gave us a one-star rating for each one! I look forward to seeing whatever we can work out. We're just looking to have a good time!
Hi Jim,
I just posted a few videos of the Humidor Troubadours. Check them out, share them with whoever wants to see them and let us know what you think. We're just having fun and looking to share these wonderful instruments with anybody that wants to listen.
Hey Jim, I've been unplugged for a few days (chaperoning an overnight field trip) but I just checked out your Youtube stuff...looks great. I've been kinda looking around for a group we could share a bill with. Please let me know if there's every a time you need someone to open for you/give you a break in a set. We'd love to do it. Maybe I'll record some stuff and post it.
Hey Jim, were a loosely knit duo/trio who's just having fun. I build 'em and we play 'em. I'm a music teacher in PG and the other guy is the extremely musical son of a piano tuner (I would kill for his perfect pitch). We play stuff that slants rather traditional/bluegrass/blues. We were looking to get out and play a bit in this fine weather coming up. You got a band going?
Thank you Jim for your purchases. Please feel free to contact me if any questions arise as you work through the lessons. I am very interested in your feedback too. I would suggest watching the whole CD like a TV show first to get an overview and see the full approach of the lessons. Happy Holidays. Best of Health and Wealth in 2010. Enjoy.
Hey Jim,
Thanks for checking out my video. I appreciate the kind comment!
Yeah - Washtub Bass has become my 2ND favorite instrument. I'm finding it a challenge to mix properly in recording, though . . . . on laptop speakers you can't even hear it in the mix, but the same mp3 is HEAVY with bass on other types of players.
Oh well, just our cross to bear, I suppose.
Cheers,
K
Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
