Thanks so much one and all...i've had days in a row, crazy busy,...so i apologize for lack of one on one replies.

My Pa lost a home he owned since '69 to foreclosure (just this past week, final), it was been an exodus of over 2 years, in all (=caring for two places, two years)..it is OK, tho--there was a "safe house" to retreat to. I'm steeped in the "thankfulness factor"  and Thankfully, my dear Mom departed this earth in time; he and I agree, she therefore is spared the trauma of witnessing. Banks made it too easy to make trouble for oneself......I am thankful to retain the spirit of optimism and being able to find a little silver lining, even in troubled times.....again-many thanks...

Thankyou very much, everyone:-) We learn some lessons along the way, in the hardships...might be more people keeping money in shoeboxes these days........

if not for optimism, we'd all be sunk...one thing you see more of in all this upheaval is a sense of compassion. hardtimes can happen to anyone....
