4 String Cookie Tin "The Uncloudy Day" guitar dobro slide thing

A quick run through of the old Gospel song "The Unclouded Day" played on the four string fretless cookie tin body slide guitar-dobro "thing" I put together in the first two weeks of April 2010. I've seen this song listed as "The Uncloudy Day" and as "The Unclouded Day". Willie Nelson has a great version, and so does Don Henley.
Nothing special, just a simple arrangement to give an example of the 'thing's" tone and versatility.

Yeah I'm using the D-G-B-e strings from an electric guitar set and have them tuned to E-B-E-b. Sometimes on a four string thing I'll use the E-A-D-b or the A-D-G-e strings. And I'm liking these kind of mountain banjo type tunings (G-D-G-d or D-A-D-a or E-B-E-b). Yes the lid is on it. And it's loud because I've got it running through an amp, using a Piezo Transducer taped inside. You have to adjust the amp carefully with these Piezo Transducers because they'll either give you feedback problems or pick up every single movement you make while touching the instrument. And the small size of the cookie tin, can make them hard to hold, that's why I started to put the longer tails on these things to have something to brace it with. Hope that clears a few things up. Mark
