Thanks Alan! I'm using an old mahogany door skin and pieces cut from the door frame (also mahogany). It's all I've got right now. I did get a lead on a free cigar box yesterday, it will be for my next CBG. I'm going to try doing the piezio thing, I've got two, one lower freq than the other. I hope to get better range than the single 2700 htz.

Fantastic! Digging in and doing the work yourself is the best. At times it is frustrating, but in the end you have a much deeper understanding. I will be posting the next lecture soon. I think as you continue your research, you will enjoy my presesentations. In general, I would suggest looking at the CBG theory in this order: major scale, harmonizing the major scale (two note intervals, doublestops) Understand these as chord fragments. If you harmonize the major scale in thirds, you will build the major triad for each note of the scale. (major, minor, minor, major, major, minor, diminished, major) The 3 string is not limited, but the four strings offers better options in arranging. The 3 string is actually just 2 note (151) The four string is three notes (5135). I think of my 3 string like a bass and the 4 string like a guitar. Thank you for responding. Duncan is so cute; I don't blame your sister, you get very attached to them. I have two little dogs. One is part Llasha and yorkie, and the other is part Maltese, Poodle, terrier, and dawg. Bubba is on my profile pic sitting in my trike. Bubba is almost 10, and has lots of health problems which are very expensive, but he is worth every penny. I told him he would have to get a job as a door greeter at the vet's office. LOL Scottie is my other dog who is about two years old. They make a bad day into a good day.
