Pro tip.A 2 string bass i pretty useless.This one was ordered by a highly acclaimed bass player who has played on records that together must have sold over 2 million. 
I did ask, a few times, are you sure you don't want three?
But he was adamant.So I made it.

Oh...the covers are just a plastic glued over the pickups as a cover.

I was at least as much into making them look good as I was into making them sound good.

Boots hung up. If you see a Blind Gee, it is one of 38. Your kids might be one of those OMG moments on Antiques Roadshow!

The tailpiece is a bit of the stuff you buy from hardware to stop wear on the leading edge of carpeted stairs.You can find a lot of very good stuff in that section, Most of it isn't ferrous so you need to run a wire to ground the bridge, Looks pretty though.

Ta. Pickup covers, headstock veneer etc are scratchplate plastic. I use carpet strip for tailpieces.
